CIPS seeks to promote:
+ World betterment.
+ Knowledge about knowledge.
+ Knowledge about knowledge evolution.
+ Knowledge about knowledge revolution.
+ General interdisciplinary knowledge.
+ General systems research.
+ Interdisciplinary wisdom.
+ Wise action.
What is wisdom (sophia)?
According to the “Friends of Wisdom” (<www.knowledgetowisdom.org>):
“Wisdom is taken to be the capacity to realize what is of value in
life, for oneself and others. It includes knowledge, understanding and
technological know-how, and much else besides.”
Presumably wisdom includes:
● the pursuit of non-extinction (see <www.lifeboat.com>); and,
● the exercise of flourishing (see <www.ria.edu>)
Would YOU like to
engage in wisdom related research and activities?
Please email your cv or resume to us with a suggestion or
proposal of what wisdom related research and activities you have in mind. If
you are designated a CIPS Fellow, we may mutually choose to publish your work
and thus make it widely available – for example, in book form via Ria
University Press.
